At Polyblend, we are proud to be certified to the International Standards Organisation (ISO) 14001?
ISO 14001 is the environmental management of businesses. Accreditation certifies companies on the compliance of their activities that have an effect on the environment. Evidence of policy, environmental management system (EMS), procedures, process controls, documentation and objectives performance, will be routinely undertaken by a 3rd party auditor to ensure that the company is fulfilling all of the requirements to the standard.
The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental, international organisation that develops standards to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems. Today’s world is a rapidly changing place with the release of many new technologies, processes and legislation every year.
To encompass this, ISO Standards are reviewed around every 5 years or so by its committee to ensure they remain relevant to today’s marketplace.
Dip Moulding is a simple and frequently employed process used worldwide. It works by creating a ‘to-scale’ mould of the product before it is heated and dipped in a liquid PVC or Acrylic, known as plastisol. With this type of process, the speed of entry and dip time determines the shape and thickness of the final product.
