๐ I have some exiting news to share.๐
I have decided to announce my official retirement date as Friday March 31st 2023.
Having sold the business to the Longacre Group last March, I had agreed to stay on for 12 months to oversee the transition period.
It’s been a crazy last couple last of years which have very been challenging for sure, but I’ve enjoyed every second supporting our customers through these difficult times or advising on ways to improve their products and sharing my knowledge at the same time.
Looking ahead to the future
In August 2022 Sean Reid was recruited as the new CEO of Polyblend. We have been working closely during the past 6 months in order to deliver a smooth transition.
On a personal note I wanted to say โThank Youโ for the business that you have placed over the years with Polyblend and of course the friendships that have developed during the past 20 years or so. I leave behind me a very strong, dedicated and committed team who are totally focused in continuing to deliver high quality products and services to you and your respective companies.
May I take this opportunity to wish you and your organization every success both now and in the future along with health and happiness for the years ahead.
Warmest Regards
Dip Moulding is a simple and frequently employed process used worldwide. It works by creating a ‘to-scale’ mould of the product before it is heated and dipped in a liquid PVC or Acrylic, known as plastisol. With this type of process, the speed of entry and dip time determines the shape and thickness of the final product.
Let me wish all of you – our customers, our suppliers, our staff and my network โ a very Merry Christmas!
By reducing leakage in pipes and providing waterproof coatings, plastic plays a big role in conserving one of our most precious resources.
